This is your chance to be part of the next generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton's strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton's goals. As an Analyst, Pricing Analytics, you will support Hilton's Customers, Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Sales organizations, with special support for the executive leadership team. On the Pricing Analytics team reporting to the Senior Manager, Pricing Analytics, you will support projects including testing and tracking of pricing initiatives and provide insights that drive the future of revenue management.
What you'll do during a typical day:
Gather requirements with the business or key partner groups.
Support multi-year offers initiatives to ensure targets are hit.
Run queries to pull data extracts, synthesize analyses, and interpret trends and variances.
Support reoccurring business reporting including the Commercial Performance Review and Commercial sections of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
How you'll collaborate with others:
Regular internal team meetings and weekly meetings with partner teams to ensure all priorities are aligned and expectations are clear.
Work with fellow team members to collaborate on new types of analysis.
Weekly learning opportunities within the team to gain both business knowledge and enhance technical skills.
Projects you'll take ownership of:
Participate in the launch of new pricing initiatives and drive the performance measurement process using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Deliver recommendations to enhance future tests.
Be the analytics voice in multi-year pricing initiatives and support ongoing data needs in these discussions.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
One (1) year of professional work experience in roles creating and analyzing reports, gathering requirements, and developing reports or dashboards
Experience with BI and data tools (including Analytics tools, MicroStrategy or similar, and Excel (can perform complex functions)
Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA or Dallas, TX
It would be useful if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics or Hospitality
One (1) year of working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling
One (1) year of functional experience in Hotel Sales, Revenue Management, or Hospitality Analytics
Experience in advanced analytic techniques, especially within R or Python toolkit
