Job Description
Wipro is seeking an experienced Communication, Media and Network (CMN) Leader to develop, and manage a global Communication, Media and Network Consulting Center of Excellence (CoE). The role carries full accountability for the strategy, commercial performance, capability development, talent agenda, and market positioning of the practice.
The successful candidate will provide senior advisory leadership to client executives, shape and deliver large-scale transformation programs, and build a scalable consulting practice that addresses the full spectrum of CMN offerings — CMN Strategy & Value Chain, Autonomous Network & Operations, Media & Entertainment Content & Advertising Operations and Subscription, Billing & Monetization
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and Scale the Center of Excellence
Define the vision, strategy, and operating model for a global CMN Consulting CoE.
Develop the service portfolio, methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property across all CMN offerings.
Build and lead a distributed team of consultants, domain specialists, and solution architects.
Establish governance structures, delivery frameworks, quality standards, and performance metrics for the practice.
Business Development and Growth
Hold accountability for the practice performance, including utilization and headcount growth.
Support origination, shaping, and securing large CMN transformation engagements.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Chief Network Officers, Chief Strategy Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Revenue Officers and Chief Information Officers
Establish alliances with technology and platform providers to strengthen the practice ecosystem and market reach.
Position the organization as a market authority through published perspectives, research, and industry engagement.
Delivery and Capability Leadership
Ensure consistency, quality, and value realization across global client engagements.
Develop and continuously strengthen capabilities across the four core CMN offerings:
CMN Strategy & Value Chain — Architecture & Design, Enterprise Business, Industry AI adoption & Value Realization, Integrated Consulting Delivery, Intelligent Experience, M&A, Divesture Strategy
Autonomous Network & Operations — API & Slice Monetisation, Edge & Network Lifecycle Management, Fiber & Satellite Network Strategy, Inventory Management, Multi Domain Service Orchestration, Network Assurance & Observability, Network Migration & Modernisation Strategy, Network Planning, Design & Roll-out, OSS Platforms & Tools Strategy
Media & Entertainment Content & Advertising Operations- Advertising Tech & Inventory Yield Optimisation, AI Driven Digital Transformation for Media Value Chain, Content Strategy & Business Model Reinvention, Cost Reduction & Resource Optimisation, IP Rights Management, Royalties & Artist Payments
Subscription, Billing & Monetization — AI Driven Billing, BSS Modernization, RA & FM, Subscription Management
Talent and Thought Leadership
Attract, develop, and retain high-performing CMN consulting talent.
Establish career frameworks, capability-development programs, and a strong practice culture.
Promote innovation, intellectual property creation, and the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, and digital twins.
͏ Required Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of twenty years of experience in CMN, including substantial experience in management consulting or advisory at a recognized firm.
A demonstrated record of building and scaling a consulting practice or Center of Excellence, including profit-and-loss ownership.
Deep, applied expertise across our CMN offerings.
Demonstrated ability to sell and deliver large, complex, multi-geography transformation engagements.
Established relationships with senior executives and credibility as a trusted advisor.
A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in business administration or a related advanced qualification is preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally as business requirements dictate.
