Workday Financials / Projects Consultant – Production Support
Location: India – Remote
Employment Type: Part Time Contract
Engagement: Ongoing Project / Production Support
Work Hours – Important Requirement
This is a contract engagement requiring approximately 2 hours of availability per business day to overlap with our U.S.-based team.
Required availability: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time (ET), Monday–Friday.
About the Role
Technoid LLC is looking for an experienced Workday Financials / Projects Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Workday Projects / PSA (Professional Services Automation) to support an ongoing implementation and production support engagement.
This is a hands-on functional consulting role focused on Workday Projects, PSA, Financial Management, configuration, business processes, reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.
This is not a project management or high-level architecture role. We are specifically looking for a hands-on Workday functional consultant with strong experience in Projects/PSA and Workday Financials.
Mandatory Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on Workday experience in implementation, configuration, administration, or production support.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Projects / PSA, including:
Project setup and maintenance
Project transactions
Project costing
Project billing
Project accounting
Project-related business processes
Strong Workday Financial Management experience is highly desirable.
Experience providing Workday production support / AMS, including incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Strong experience with Workday configuration and business processes, including condition rules, approvals, validations, and enhancements.
Experience with Workday Reporting, including custom reports and calculated fields.
Experience with testing, including unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and UAT.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional production support for Workday Projects / PSA and related Financial Management functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Projects and Financials issues reported by business users.
Configure Workday Projects/PSA business processes, workflows, validations, and related functionality.
Support project setup, project transactions, project costing, project billing, project accounting, and project reporting.
Perform root-cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions for recurring production issues.
Create, modify, and troubleshoot Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday certification in Financial Management, Projects/PSA, or another relevant Workday functional area.
Strong Workday Financial Management experience in addition to Projects/PSA.
Experience with Workday integrations and understanding of integration touchpoints affecting Projects/Financials.
Previous experience in a Workday AMS / Production Support environment.
Understanding of finance, project accounting, project costing, and billing concepts.
Experience with Workday Community, Workday releases, and Workday support methodologies.
