Role Description The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Vsole Solar inverter systems at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting diagnostic checks, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and safety. The role involves providing technical support, training end users and local partners, and documenting service activities, reports, and recommendations. The Field Services Engineer will collaborate closely with internal engineering and customer service teams to resolve complex issues, improve service processes, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Field Service skills, including on-site installation, commissioning, and system verification.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including routine inspections, testing, and performance optimization.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build productive relationships.
Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline, preferably with experience in solar or power systems.
Working knowledge of single and three-phase power systems, inverters, safety standards, and relevant electrical codes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals, and to use diagnostic tools and measurement equipment.
Willingness to travel within the region, work in outdoor environments, and adhere to all safety and compliance requirements.
