Role Description This is a full-time remote role for Sales Executives and Logistics Coordinators at FR8. Sales Executives will focus on identifying and onboarding new clients, building and maintaining relationships with consignees and truck owners, explaining service offerings, preparing quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms. Logistics Coordinators will manage daily shipment bookings, assign appropriate trucks based on load requirements, coordinate with drivers and truck owners, monitor transit status, and ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution. Both roles will collaborate closely to optimize fleet utilization, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and provide proactive communication and support to customers. Team members are expected to work with cross-functional teams, follow standard operating procedures, and contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong sales and client relationship skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and account management.
Candidates should possess logistics and operations skills, such as load planning, route coordination, dispatch management, and shipment tracking.
Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills for handling delivery issues, optimizing truck utilization, and interpreting basic data and reports.
Candidates should possess digital literacy skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM or logistics platforms, and general business software tools.
Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of the Indian road transport market and truck types is an advantage.
A diploma or degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, depending on experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, maintain self-discipline, and meet performance targets is required.
