Role Description The Sales Marketing Manager (Fire Fighting) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving business growth for fire protection and detection solutions. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients across industrial, commercial, and corporate segments. The Sales Marketing Manager will plan and execute sales and marketing strategies, prepare proposals and quotations, deliver technical and commercial presentations, and participate in negotiations to close projects. Day-to-day activities include market research, lead generation, sales forecasting, coordination with design and project execution teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves monitoring competitor activity, supporting branding and promotional initiatives, and reporting on sales performance and pipeline status to senior management.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in fire protection, safety systems, construction, or related engineering services.
Strong skills in business development, client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop targeted sales and marketing strategies.
Familiarity with fire detection and suppression solutions (e.g., hydrant, sprinkler, foam, gas suppression systems) or willingness to quickly learn technical product details.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and proposal drafting abilities.
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in safety or fire protection are an advantage.
Comfort working on-site with clients and project teams, with a strong focus on safety compliance and ethical conduct.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools for managing leads,
