Role Description:
This is an on-site Web Designer internship role based in Gurugram. The Web Designer intern will support the design and development of visually appealing, user-friendly websites for a variety of client projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating layouts and mockups, preparing graphic assets, collaborating with front-end developers, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. The intern will help refine responsive designs for different devices, participate in design reviews, and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders. The role also involves learning and applying current design trends, best practices, and web standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills, with an understanding of usability and user experience principles.
Candidates should possess Graphic Design and Graphics skills, including the ability to create visual assets, icons, and imagery for web interfaces.
Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development skills, such as familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or modern front-end frameworks.
Candidates should possess a good eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to translate requirements into clean, modern interface designs.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, developers, and project managers on-site.
Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial.
Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Cloud, and a portfolio showcasing web design work, is an advantage.
