Mechanical Design Engineer

Simsquare Engineering is looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineering Intern to join our growing engineering team.
This is an opportunity to work on real-world mechanical engineering and product development projects and gain practical experience in CAD, design, engineering documentation and manufacturing-oriented design.
🔧 What You'll Work On
3D CAD modelling and mechanical component design
2D engineering drawings and detailing
Product design and development support
Design modifications and engineering changes
Sheet metal and weldment design
BOM preparation and engineering documentation
Design for Manufacturing (DFM) support
Reverse engineering and design improvement
Support engineering analysis and design reviews
Work closely with experienced engineers on live projects
💻 What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or completed B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Strong interest in mechanical design and product development
Basic understanding of engineering drawing and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor / AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to learn and work on real engineering projects
Good communication and documentation skills
Freshers are welcome to apply.
