Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Advisor role based in Chennai. The Insurance Advisor will meet prospective and existing clients, assess their financial protection needs, and provide suitable life insurance solutions. Daily responsibilities include explaining policy features and benefits, preparing proposals and documentation, and supporting clients through the application and policy servicing process. The role involves maintaining regular contact with policyholders, addressing queries and claims-related issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing. The Insurance Advisor is also expected to achieve sales targets, follow regulatory and company guidelines, and participate in training and development programs.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Insurance and basic Finance concepts.
Experience or interest in Consulting-style advisory, including needs analysis and solution recommendation.
Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on relationship building and client satisfaction.
Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai and manage client meetings and field activities as required.
Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet sales and performance targets.
Attention to detail and adherence to compliance, regulatory, and documentation standards.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; background in commerce, finance, or business is an advantage.
Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
