Overall Summary
Oracle Fusion technical expert for end-to-end data conversion/migration across ERP, SCM, PPM, or HCM — designing, developing, validating, and deploying conversion solutions with functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead data conversions (implementation & support); analyze legacy data, define migration strategy/mapping/cleansing/validation; build FBDI, ADFDI, Spreadsheet Loader, HDL, REST/SOAP-based solutions; develop SQL/PL-SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, BICC extraction/load templates; automate large-volume migration & reconciliation; build reusable conversion utilities/scripts; run mock conversions & production cutovers; troubleshoot load failures; prepare TDDs, mapping docs, deployment guides; liaise with functional consultants; follow Oracle Cloud best practices.
Required Technical Skills:
Fusion Technical: ERP/SCM/PPM/HCM technical knowledge, Fusion data model, SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, BICC, Fusion security concepts
Data Conversion: FBDI, ADFDI, HDL (preferred), Spreadsheet Loaders, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, file-based integrations, bulk migration, reconciliation/validation, legacy-to-Fusion mapping
Integration (preferred): OIC, REST/SOAP, FTP/SFTP, JSON, XML, XSLT
Database: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, complex joins, analytical functions, data transformation.
Functional Knowledge (any one): Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Projects (PPM), HCM (preferred).
Experience:
7–12 yrs Oracle technical experience; 2–3+ Fusion Cloud implementations; large-volume data migration, cutover planning/mock cycles, TDD/mapping docs, SIT/UAT/Production support.
Preferred: Engineering/CS degree; Oracle Fusion certification; OIC experience; Agile delivery.
Soft Skills: Analytical/problem-solving, communication & stakeholder management, independent/lead technical workstreams, documentation, mentoring, methodology/lifecycle understanding.
Nice to Have: VBCS, Oracle APEX, OCI fundamentals, AI-assisted Fusion development, migration automation
