The Assistant Manager - Product Sales is responsible for driving sales growth by achieving order bookings, increasing sales turnover, managing payments, and expanding the network of SSPs (Sales and Service Partners). This role involves managing relationships with key influencers such as architects and consultants, conducting regular reviews of channel partners, and ensuring all sales processes and targets are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Achieving order bookings and sales turnover targets in line with the market potential.
Collecting payments due from customers as per the agreed payment terms and conditions.
Appointing new SSPs to support business growth.
Developing and managing existing SSPs to enhance business opportunities.
Meeting with existing and new architects, consultants, and customers on a monthly basis to build and maintain relationships for business generation.
Retaining existing architects and consultants, ensuring continued business from them.
Conducting quarterly reviews of all SSPs, submit reports as per the format mentioned in the policy, and communicate performance achievements or gaps (if any) to the SSPs.
Conducting quarterly reviews of all channel partners to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensuring all MIS reports and forecasts are submitted to the Zonal Head on a periodic manner.
Participating in training sessions for SSPs and team members on product knowledge and sales processes.
Attending all scheduled training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and product innovations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC or related industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
