About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Manager to manage project billing and commercial activities for our Mumbai Airport Project. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in Aviation, Commercial Building, and/or Hospital Building Projects.
The candidate will be responsible for managing client and subcontractor billing, measurement verification, certification, documentation, and coordination with project and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall project billing process, including preparation and submission of client bills.
Review and verify quantities, measurements, BOQs, work orders, and supporting documents.
Prepare and check RA Bills, final bills, variation claims, and additional work claims.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors for billing-related matters.
Ensure timely submission and certification of bills as per contractual requirements.
Monitor work progress versus billing and maintain accurate billing records.
Review subcontractor bills and verify measurements before processing payments.
Identify and prepare variations, deviations, extra items, and rate analysis wherever applicable.
Maintain proper documentation for all billing and commercial activities.
Assist in quantity reconciliation, cost monitoring, and commercial reporting.
Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and project procedures.
Coordinate with the finance and commercial teams for timely processing and payment follow-up.
Support the project team in resolving billing and contractual issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
6–8 years of total experience in project billing/commercial functions.
Experience in Aviation, Airport, Commercial Building, Hospital Building, or similar large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity measurement, RA Bills, rate analysis, variations, and final billing.
Good understanding of construction contracts and billing procedures.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Good command of MS Excel and relevant billing/commercial software.
Ability to work independently and manage billing activities within project timelines.
Candidates with experience in large-scale and complex building projects will be preferred.
