Company and Role Description The Event Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. But travel all over India and broad too .. This position oversees the planning and execution of corporate events, ensuring all operational aspects run smoothly from initial concept through post-event review. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients and internal teams, managing vendors and venue logistics, preparing event timelines, and ensuring adherence to budgets and quality standards. The Event Operations Manager will handle on-ground event supervision, address operational issues in real time, and maintain clear documentation and reporting for each event. The role also involves improving processes, maintaining strong customer service, and supporting business development through reliable event delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Budgeting skills to oversee event logistics and cost control.
Candidates should possess Event Planning and Customer Service skills to design effective events and ensure positive client experiences.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Candidates should ideally have experience in corporate events, conferences, or related event management environments.
Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under time-sensitive conditions.
A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in basic office software and event management tools, along with the ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules, will be beneficial.
