Senior QA Engineer (Automation)
Location: Ahmedabad (India)

Urbanfix is looking for a Senior QA Engineer who can take full ownership of product quality across multiple software products in a fast-paced, sprint-driven environment.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases, strong automation coverage, and reliable AI-driven systems.
What You’ll Do
Quality Ownership
Own end-to-end quality across multiple products
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement discussions
Convert user stories into structured test scenarios
Deliver test plans, test cases, and release validation
Provide Go / No-Go release recommendations
Testing & Validation
Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and cross-device testing
Test applications built on React.js, Node.js, Python, and Flutter
Validate REST APIs, integrations, and backend workflows
Maintain clear test documentation and defect tracking
Automation
Build and maintain automation frameworks
Develop UI, API, and regression test automation
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort
Security & AI Testing
Validate authentication, authorization, and access control
Identify vulnerabilities aligned with OWASP standards
Test AI models and AI agent outputs for accuracy and reliability
Identify hallucinations, edge cases, and bias risks
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of QA experience in Agile environments
3+ years in automation testing
Experience testing React.js, Node.js, Python, and Flutter applications
Strong API testing and automation skills
Knowledge of application security fundamentals and OWASP
Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-based systems is a strong plus
Strong analytical thinking and ownership mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-product environment
