Instrumentation and Control Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION – INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to handle instrumentation, control systems, engineering design, and project execution activities for industrial and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review instrumentation and control engineering documents.
• Develop instrument specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review instrument index, I/O lists, cable schedules, and loop diagrams.
• Review P&IDs and identify instrumentation and control requirements.
• Select and specify field instruments and control equipment.
• Develop and review control system architecture and related documents.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review vendor drawings, technical offers, and engineering documents.
• Support installation, testing, calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure instrumentation and control systems comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline.
• Good knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and automation systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrumentation drawings.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration, testing, and commissioning.
• Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience in EPC, oil & gas, power, industrial, or process projects is preferred.
