Technical Lead - CPQ Backend Solutions | Remote

We're looking for a Technical Lead with strong backend engineering expertise and experience in CPQ, pricing, quoting, and enterprise integrations to mentor developers, drive architecture decisions, and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Job Location : - Hyderabad (Hybrid)
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of backend developers working on CPQ-related solutions.
Provide technical guidance, architectural direction, and hands-on support throughout the software development lifecycle.
Foster engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices, and continuous knowledge sharing.
Solution Architecture & Engineering
Design and implement robust, scalable backend architectures supporting complex pricing, configuration, and quoting models.
Develop and oversee server-side logic for:
Pricing engines
Business rule evaluation
Approval workflows
Enterprise integrations
Ensure high-performance, highly available backend services capable of supporting enterprise transaction volumes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Front-End Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to define and deliver strategic CPQ initiatives.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with commercial objectives.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for backend and CPQ-related development challenges.
Technical Excellence & Innovation
Drive code quality through review processes, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize backend applications for scalability, reliability, and performance.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, CPQ platforms, and integration patterns to continuously improve solution delivery.
Contribute to architecture documentation, technical specifications, and integration designs.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operational processes.
