Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer specializing in Healthcare Interfaces and
Interoperability to validate, test, and support healthcare integrations across EMR/EHR, Practice
Management, Laboratory, Radiology, Billing, and third-party healthcare systems.
The role will be responsible for end-to-end testing of HL7 interfaces, FHIR APIs, healthcare data
exchanges, sandbox environments, and client-specific integrations. The candidate must possess
deep knowledge of US healthcare workflows, interoperability standards, and healthcare data
validation to ensure accurate and compliant exchange of clinical and financial information.
Core Responsibilities:
HL7 Interface Testing
• Validate inbound and outbound HL7 messages.
• Verify message transformations, mappings, routing, acknowledgments (ACK/NACK), and
error handling.
API & FHIR Testing
• Test REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, ReadyAPI, SoapUI.
Interface Validation
• Test interfaces between:
• Execute integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate testing activities with client technical teams and interface analysts.
Sandbox & Client Testing
• Configure and maintain client test environments.
• Execute client onboarding validation.
• Support client connectivity testing.
• Verify production readiness.
• Participate in client calls for defect triage and interface troubleshooting.
• Validate source-to-target mapping documents.
• Perform data reconciliation between source and destination systems.
