Role Description The Trade Execution role is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing end-to-end execution of edible oil trades from order confirmation through delivery. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with suppliers, buyers, brokers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely shipments, and adherence to contractual terms. The role involves monitoring market movements, tracking order status, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date records in relevant systems. This position also supports risk management and compliance by verifying trade details, aligning with company policies, and preparing basic reports on trade performance. The Trade Execution professional will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance to ensure smooth, efficient, and transparent trade flows.
Qualifications
Strong trade operations skills, including order processing, documentation handling, and coordination with logistics and finance teams.
Experience in commodity trading or agribusiness, preferably in edible oils or related food products.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, trade management or ERP systems, and basic data analysis for tracking orders and performance.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills to work with suppliers, customers, and internal teams in a remote environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a structured approach to managing multiple trades and deadlines.
Understanding of international trade concepts, incoterms, shipping documents, and basic contract terms is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, supply chain, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing market and operational demands.
