Healthcare Innovation Advisor — HiWoxAbout HiWox
HiWox is building a personalised wellness intelligence ecosystem across 9 dimensions — physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, occupational, environmental, financial, and sexual & reproductive wellness.
We combine structured data collection, healthcare and wellness science, rule-based intelligence, explainable recommendations and technology to build a scalable Healthcare Operating System.

Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Innovation Strategy — Advise the founders on emerging opportunities across healthcare, wellness, preventive health, digital health and HealthTech.
Innovation & R&D — Identify new healthcare technologies, scientific developments, assessment methodologies, devices, diagnostics, data systems and digital solutions that can strengthen HiWox.
Healthcare Ecosystem Mapping — Identify relevant hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, research institutions, universities, technology companies, device manufacturers and innovation organisations.
Technology & Solution Scouting — Research and evaluate emerging healthcare technologies, wearables, medical devices, sensors, AI applications, diagnostics and digital health platforms.
Strategic Partnerships — Facilitate introductions and partnerships with healthcare institutions, technology providers, researchers, medical professionals and other strategic organisations.
Healthcare Research Network — Help build a strong network of healthcare scientists, researchers, clinicians, institutions and innovation leaders who can contribute to HiWox's R&D and validation.
Innovation Validation — Help evaluate whether new healthcare concepts, technologies and solutions are scientifically credible, practically useful, scalable and commercially viable.
Product & R&D Collaboration — Work with HiWox's Healthcare Scientists, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Device Experts and Wellness Consultants to convert healthcare innovations into practical product capabilities.
IP & Competitive Advantage — Identify opportunities for proprietary methodologies, technologies, processes, data systems and intellectual property that can create long-term competitive advantage.
Government & Funding Opportunities — Identify relevant healthcare innovation schemes, grants, R&D programs, incubation opportunities and institutional support available through government and other organisations.
Market & Industry Intelligence — Track developments in preventive healthcare, digital health, personalised wellness, healthcare devices, diagnostics and HealthTech and translate them into actionable opportunities.
Commercialisation & Scaling — Advise on how promising healthcare innovations can move from research and validation into pilots, partnerships, products and scalable commercial applications.
Founder Advisory — Provide strategic guidance on healthcare innovation priorities, technology selection, partnerships, risks and long-term positioning.
Ideal Candidate
8+ years of experience in healthcare, HealthTech, healthcare innovation, medical technology, clinical research, digital health or a related field
Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem
Experience with healthcare innovation, R&D, technology evaluation or product development
Strong network among healthcare professionals, hospitals, research institutions, universities, startups or technology companies
Experience developing strategic partnerships or research collaborations
Understanding of healthcare technology, medical devices, diagnostics, AI/ML or digital health is highly valuable
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, validation and commercialisation is an advantage
Strong strategic thinking and ability to identify practical innovation opportunities
Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to contribute at an early-stage company
Key Outcome
The primary objective of this role is to help HiWox build a strong Healthcare Innovation & R&D ecosystem by connecting the company with the right healthcare experts, institutions, technologies, research capabilities, partnerships and innovation opportunities.
The advisor should help HiWox move beyond simply building a wellness platform and develop genuine healthcare innovation, scientific credibility and long-term technological differentiation.
