Video Editor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ahmedabad. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and editing videos to align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound, and effects, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to develop engaging visual content. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics or titles as needed, and preparing final exports for various platforms. The Video Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, meet production timelines, and contribute creative ideas to improve video storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end video projects.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic post-production workflows to ensure consistent visual quality.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance video narratives and branding.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop or equivalent).
Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling ability, and an understanding of pacing, composition, and sound design.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with creative, marketing, and client teams on-site.
Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing previous video work is required.
