Role Description The Academic Counselor at C HUB will provide individualized academic and career guidance to students through one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and ongoing follow-up. Responsibilities include assessing students’ interests and strengths, recommending suitable academic pathways, and helping learners understand admission processes, course selections, and long-term career options. The role involves collaborating with teachers and parents, maintaining accurate records of counseling sessions, and preparing reports or guidance materials as needed. The counselor will also conduct orientation programs, information sessions, and skill-building activities to support student development. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Student Counseling and Academic Advising.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Career Counseling and Education guidance.
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
Experience working with students in an academic or training environment is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional ethics.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and documentation tools.
