ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and responsible Junior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with strong experience in the hospital/healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, accounting operations, financial data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and Excel.
The candidate must also possess good decision-making and problem-solving skills and should be capable of handling routine accounting matters independently while knowing when an issue needs to be escalated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses using Tally.
Perform bank, cash, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
Verify financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
Prepare regular accounting reports and financial summaries.
Analyze financial data to identify errors, mismatches, unusual transactions, and trends.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing, payments, expenses, and financial documentation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure accounting records are updated accurately and on time.
Provide financial data and reports required by management for decision-making.
Follow internal financial controls, accounting procedures, and compliance requirements.
Handle hospital-specific accounting and financial transactions.
HOSPITAL / HELTHCARE ACCOUNTING NEEDED
Hospital experience is required.
The candidate should have practical exposure to areas such as:
Hospital billing and collections
Patient-related financial transactions
Insurance / TPA transactions
Doctor / consultant payments
Vendor payments
Pharmacy / laboratory / diagnostic-related transactions
Hospital expenses
Daily cash and collection reconciliation
Department-wise financial reporting
REQUIRED SKILL
Accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT
2+ years of relevant accounting experience
Hospital / Healthcare accounting experience required
Strong working knowledge of Tally
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Strong analytical and numerical skills

Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High level of confidentiality and professional integrity

EDUCATION
B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance / CMA / CA /equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance
