ABOUT THE ROLE
Metro Mind Hospitals is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and responsible Psychologist to join our mental healthcare team. The candidate will support psychological assessment, patient counselling, therapeutic interventions within their qualifications and scope of practice, and coordinated patient care.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, clinical understanding, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews within professional competence.
Provide individual counselling and psychological interventions appropriate to the candidate's training and scope of practice.
Support patients in understanding emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and session documentation.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
Monitor patient progress and communicate relevant observations to the treatment team.
Apply ethical principles, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.
Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and relevant training programmes.
Support patient and family psychoeducation where appropriate.
Follow Metro Mind Hospitals' clinical procedures, documentation standards, and patient safety requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS

Basic understanding of psychological assessment and mental health conditions.
