Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Physiotherapist role based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Senior Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver physiotherapy interventions aligned with best practices. Daily responsibilities include supervising therapy sessions, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members. The role also involves guiding junior staff, contributing to clinical protocols, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The Senior Physiotherapist will help shape the clinical standards of a growing rehabilitation brand and ensure a safe, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
Professional expertise in physiotherapy assessment, treatment planning, and delivery, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and so on.
Strong clinical reasoning skills and familiarity with evidence-based practice, outcome measurement, and patient education techniques.
Ability to supervise and mentor junior therapists and support staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused clinical environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a culturally sensitive manner.
Solid organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining clear treatment notes and adhering to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution; current professional registration or eligibility to register as required by local regulations.
Experience in rehabilitation settings (inpatient, outpatient, or community) is highly desirable, especially in a leadership or senior clinical role.
