Role Description The Sr Business Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hosur. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth in 3D printing and rapid prototyping services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and presenting tailored solutions to prospective and existing customers. The Sr Business Development professional will collaborate with technical and operations teams to align customer requirements with service capabilities and ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery. The role also involves monitoring sales performance, providing accurate forecasts, attending client meetings and industry events, and contributing to strategic planning to expand the company’s market presence.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret market trends, sales data, and customer feedback for informed business decisions.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to present solutions, negotiate contracts, and build long-term client relationships.
Proven experience in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify prospects, understand industry needs, and map competitive offerings.
Customer Service orientation with the ability to manage client expectations, handle queries, and ensure high satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Professional experience in business development or sales, preferably in manufacturing, engineering services, or 3D printing-related industries.
Ability to work on-site in Hosur and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and operations staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and meet revenue targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in sales or marketing are an advantage.
