Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Ahmedabad. The Salesperson will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate life insurance solutions. Day-to-day activities include generating leads, conducting client meetings, explaining product features and benefits, and assisting customers with applications and documentation. The role involves maintaining regular contact with clients, following up on proposals, and ensuring timely policy issuance and service support. The Salesperson will collaborate with internal teams, track sales targets, participate in local marketing initiatives, and uphold regulatory and company compliance standards while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications
Strong customer relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
Sales and negotiation skills, with experience in meeting targets, handling objections, and closing opportunities in financial services or a related domain.
Basic knowledge of life insurance or financial products, with the ability to learn product features, regulatory requirements, and market trends quickly.
Organizational and time management skills, including maintaining accurate records, managing follow-ups, and prioritizing multiple client interactions.
Comfort working in an on-site, field-oriented environment in Ahmedabad, with readiness to travel locally for client meetings and events as needed.
Proficiency in using common digital tools (CRM systems, email, presentations, spreadsheets) to manage leads and prepare customer proposals.
Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in business, commerce, or finance is an advantage.
Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial advisory is preferred but not mandatory; a strong drive to learn and grow in a sales career is essential.
