Role Description The Accounting Intern will support the finance and accounting team in daily operations, including assisting with bookkeeping, preparing and updating financial records, and helping with the preparation and review of financial statements. Key tasks include posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, maintaining documentation, and supporting basic reporting and compliance activities. The intern will work closely with team members to learn and use accounting software, contribute to financial data analysis, and help improve internal processes. This is an internship role based on-site in Bengaluru, offering hands-on experience in a growing hospitality and F&B company.
Qualifications
Ability to work with Financial Statements and a basic understanding of Finance concepts.
Proficiency or familiarity with Accounting Software and comfort with digital tools and spreadsheets.
Strong Analytical Skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.
Knowledge of Journal Entries (Accounting) and fundamental bookkeeping practices.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
High level of integrity, reliability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Basic understanding of Indian taxation and compliance is an advantage but not mandatory.
