Job Description:
Ansco Systems Private Limited is looking for an experienced Solar PV Design Engineer to handle end-to-end design activities for rooftop, ground-mounted, and floating solar power projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare PV system designs for rooftop, ground-mounted, and floating solar plants.
Develop GA drawings, SLDs, layout drawings, string layouts, and earthing & lightning protection designs.
Perform energy generation calculations using tools like PVsyst / Helioscope / AutoCAD.
DC & AC side design including inverter sizing, cable sizing, transformer selection, and protection schemes.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams for design finalization.
Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, IEC, and client technical specifications.
Support tendering & estimation teams with technical inputs and BOQs.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and O&M stages.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Solar PV system design & engineering
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel
Understanding of HT/LT systems, SCADA basics, and grid connectivity
Familiarity with Indian standards & safety norms
Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience:
Experience in utility-scale / floating solar projects
Exposure to government & PSU solar tenders (SECI, NTPC, CCL, GAIL, etc.)
