🚨 WE ARE HIRING – MECHANICAL MANAGER
Vaaman Engineer India Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead mechanical maintenance and reliability operations at Jharsuguda, Odisha.
📍 Location: Jharsuguda, Odisha
💼 Experience: 10–15 Years
🎓 Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering
🏭 Industry: Aluminium / Non-Ferrous Metals / Process Industry
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical maintenance for Cast House, Wire Rod Mill, ICM & Billet Casting.
Manage preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Strong expertise in Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems and troubleshooting.
Drive equipment reliability, availability and maintenance performance.
Conduct RCA for major and recurring equipment failures.
Implement FMEA for critical equipment and processes.
Monitor and improve MTTR & MTBF.
Plan and execute shutdowns, major overhauls and preventive maintenance.
Analyse breakdown trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Coordinate with Production, Operations, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.
Ensure critical spares and maintenance resources are available.
Lead Kaizen, reliability improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, LOTO and Permit-to-Work systems.
Lead and develop the mechanical maintenance team.
