Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sourcing Specialist based in the Pune Division. The Sourcing Specialist will identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and service providers that align with the company’s quality, cost, and delivery standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing supplier capabilities, managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and supporting contract negotiation to secure favorable terms. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, operations, and business development teams to ensure timely sourcing for global trade projects and to support import-export strategies. The Sourcing Specialist will also maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and contribute to continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to evaluate suppliers, costs, and market trends.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners across regions.
Experience in Contract Negotiation, including reviewing terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.
Background in Procurement or supply chain management, with knowledge of sourcing methodologies.
Exposure to Recruiting suppliers or vendor identification in domestic and international markets.
Understanding of import-export processes, trade regulations, and documentation is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other sourcing or procurement tools for data analysis and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
