Role Description The Wellness Nurse is responsible for delivering preventive, patient-centered care within Prvnt’s integrated health platform in an on-site setting in Chennai. This full-time role includes conducting health assessments, monitoring vital signs, reviewing diagnostic reports, and supporting the interpretation of wearable and lab data under clinical guidance. The Wellness Nurse provides education on lifestyle modification, supports holistic wellness plans, coordinates follow-up appointments, and assists in implementing individualized prevention programs. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining accurate clinical records, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols, and offering empathetic, evidence-based support to individuals throughout their wellness journeys.
Qualifications
Active nursing license (e.g., B.Sc Nursing, GNM, or equivalent) and demonstrated clinical experience in primary care, preventive health, or wellness-focused settings.
Strong skills in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, documentation, and care coordination, with attention to clinical accuracy and safety.
Ability to educate individuals on lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, stress management, and holistic therapies, using clear and compassionate communication.
Comfort working with digital health tools, electronic medical records, and basic data interpretation from wearables and diagnostic reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive care for diverse populations.
Proactive mindset, ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, and openness to learning preventive and AI-enabled care models.
Willingness to work on-site in Chennai on a full-time schedule; prior experience in high-tech or start-up healthcare environments is an advantage.
