Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior layouts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture placement for residential, commercial, or corporate projects. Daily activities include collaborating with clients to understand requirements, preparing design concepts and mood boards, and producing detailed drawings and specifications for implementation. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, overseeing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections, and ensuring that designs are executed according to quality, budget, and timeline expectations. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, design revisions, and documentation to maintain project consistency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design skills, with demonstrated experience in concept development and detailed design for diverse spaces.
Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, circulation, and user experience within interior environments.
Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals to align interior solutions with structural, building-code, and safety requirements.
Ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings and technical documentation for contractors and project teams.
Experience managing FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Competence with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and basic MS Office skills.
Excellent communication, client-facing, and collaboration abilities, with strong attention to detail and time management.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior on-site project experience in the Greater Delhi Area or similar markets is an advantage.
