📌 Position: SAP Consultant – PP/MM Integration
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant with good working knowledge of SAP MM and PP-MM to join our IT team and support business-critical manufacturing and supply chain processes on SAP S/4HANA.
🔹 Key Responsibilities –
• Configure, implement, support and enhance SAP PP processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Handle MRP, Production Planning, Demand Management, Capacity Planning and Production Execution.
• Manage BOM, Work Canters, Routings and Production Versions.
• Support Production Orders including creation, release, confirmation, Goods Issue and Goods Receipt.
• Troubleshoot MRP issues, planning exceptions and production-related issues.
• Support Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO) and other manufacturing scenarios.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support UAT, testing, enhancements, implementation and rollout activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
• Provide user support and conduct root-cause analysis for production issues.
🔹 SAP MM Responsibilities
• Good understanding of SAP MM Procurement and Inventory Management processes.
• Support Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Goods Receipt and Invoice Verification processes.
• Understand Material Master, Vendor/Business Partner, Purchasing Info Records and Source List.
• Support inventory management, stock transfers and material movements.
• Understand movement types and MIGO-related transactions.
• Support Stock Transport Orders (STO) and inter-plant material movements.
• Assist in resolving procurement and inventory-related issues.
• Coordinate with the MM team for material availability and procurement-related requirements.
The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of the integration between SAP PP and MM, including:
✅ MRP → Purchase Requisition / Planned Order
✅ Planned Order → Production Order
✅ BOM → Component Requirement
✅ Production Order → Material Reservation
✅ Goods Issue → Component Consumption
✅ Goods Receipt → Finished/Semi-Finished Goods
✅ Production Order → Inventory Updates
✅ Material Master integration between PP & MM
✅ Procurement of externally purchased components
✅ Subcontracting / external processing exposure
✅ Stock transfer and material availability processes
🔹 Cross-Module Integration
Good understanding of integration with:
• SAP SD – Sales & Delivery
• SAP CO – Production Order Costing & Settlement
• SAP FI – Accounting Integration
🔹 Required Skills
✅ 4–8 years of SAP PP experience
✅ Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA
✅ Strong understanding of MRP and Production Planning
✅ BOM, Routing, Work Center & Production Version
✅ Production Orders & Shop Floor Processes
✅ Good understanding of SAP MM
✅ Experience in a manufacturing environment
✅ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
✅ Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
⭐ Preferred
• SAP S/4HANA On-Premise experience
• Manufacturing industry experience
• SAP implementation / rollout / migration experience
• Knowledge of PP-PI / Process Manufacturing would be an advantage
• Experience working with SAP support vendors and cross-functional teams
