Role Description The SAP Finance Control Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP FICO modules to support finance and controlling processes, including CO-PA, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and cost center accounting. The consultant will collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and document business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Day-to-day tasks include system configuration, data validation, testing, troubleshooting issues, preparing functional specifications, and supporting end users through training and guidance. The role also involves continuous process improvement, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Qualifications
Strong SAP FICO and CO-PA skills, with experience in configuration, integration, and support.
Solid understanding of Finance and Controlling concepts, including budgeting, reporting, and cost management.
Ability to analyze Business Processes and translate requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for data validation, reconciliation, and problem-solving in complex systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations or major enhancements is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in preparing functional documentation, test cases, and user training materials.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
Exposure to manufacturing or power/energy sector processes is an advantage.
