Role Description The Draftsperson at Studio Liminal will prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details, based on design concepts provided by the team. Day-to-day work includes updating drawings, coordinating revisions, maintaining drawing standards, and ensuring accuracy in dimensions and annotations. The role also involves collaborating with architects and designers, interpreting design briefs, and helping prepare documentation for presentations and basic construction coordination. This is a part-time position. It is a hybrid role based in Ahmedabad, with regular in-studio collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility as project needs allow.
Qualifications
Proficiency in architectural drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup).
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings and translate concepts into clear technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and consistency in drawing standards and file organization.
Basic understanding of building materials, construction methods, and joinery or interior fit-out details.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers and architects in a studio environment.
Time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a part-time, hybrid setup.
Diploma or degree in architecture, interior design, civil drafting, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in an architecture or interior design studio in Ahmedabad or similar context is an advantage.
