Tech Lead – AI Platform Engineering

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead – AI Platform Engineering to lead the development of scalable
backend services, integrations and AI-enabled product modules.
The ideal candidate should be a strong backend or full-stack engineer who can independently own modules, review
code, mentor developers and coordinate releases.
Key Responsibilities
 Design and develop backend services using Python, FastAPI, Node.js or TypeScript.
 Build reliable REST APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations.
 Implement multi-tenant applications, authentication and role-based access.
 Integrate pre-trained language models, RAG pipelines, AI agents and ML inference services.
 Work with PostgreSQL, vector databases, background jobs and event-driven systems.
 Review code, guide developers and maintain engineering quality.
 Coordinate with frontend, mobile, AI/ML, DevOps and QA teams.
 Support testing, CI/CD, releases, documentation and production troubleshooting.
Required Skills
 3+ years of professional software-development experience.
 Strong experience with Python and FastAPI, or Node.js and TypeScript.
 Experience building production APIs and backend systems.
 Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modelling.
 Experience with Docker, Git and CI/CD.
 Understanding of authentication, RBAC and multi-tenant application design.
 Exposure to LLM integrations, RAG, vector databases or AI-agent workflows.
 Ability to review code and lead a small engineering team.
 Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have
 React, React Native or Flutter exposure.
 LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP or structured tool-calling experience.
 Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar technologies.
 AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code experience.
 Exposure to time-series data, IoT, industrial applications or edge computing.
