About TAFCO
TAFCO is India’s first Integrated Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Solutions company focused on assessing, managing, and improving indoor air quality across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. TAFCO is positioned beyond selling individual products and provides end-to-end IAQ solutions, combining monitoring, data analysis, solution deployment, and ongoing performance management to deliver healthier indoor environments in residential, commercial, and industrial setups. Recently, we have received funding under the SISFS (GoI) scheme and are a DPIIT-recognized & incubated startup at GUSEC, Ahmedabad.
Job Responsibilities
System architecture — design the hardware-software stack for TAFCO's product line from sensor to cloud
Firmware development — build and maintain firmware across TAFCO's product line
Sensor & peripheral integration — interface &calibrate air quality sensors, motors & other
Hardware collaboration — work with electronics design on schematics, board bring-up, and component selection
Connectivity & data — implement wireless/IoT communication and ensure reliable device-to-cloud data flow
Testing & validation — test systems across device batches, troubleshoot field issues, and drive reliability improvements
Production support — support manufacturing partners on flashing, QC test jigs, and production-line issues
Cross-functional collaboration — work with product, hardware, and ops teams to ship reliable, connected devices
Requirements
0-3 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware, or hardware-software integration (startup or hardware experience is a big plus)
Strong hands-on experience with embedded C/C++ and microcontroller-based systems
Understanding of hardware fundamentals — schematics, peripherals, and board-level debugging — alongside firmware
Background in hardware, IoT, cleantech, or consumer electronics and experience taking systems from prototype to production
This is not a remote position and the selected candidate needs to work from our Ahmedabad office
