Social Media Executive (Marketing Agency)

About the Role: MediaX is looking for a Social Media Executive (Social Media Agency) to lead content strategy and brand growth across multiple accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of content, strategy, client management, and execution. You will be responsible for shaping brand narratives, leading content direction, managing client relationships, and ensuring campaigns translate into measurable business outcomes.
We are looking for someone who can think strategically, communicate confidently, and take ownership from idea to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead content strategy and planning across multiple brands
Own monthly content calendars, campaign planning, and content direction
Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and relationship management
Translate business objectives into content that drives awareness, engagement, and growth
Collaborate with designers, videographers, creators, and influencers to deliver high-quality content
Review and refine creative output to ensure consistency, quality, and performance
Track content performance and present actionable insights through reports and presentations
Identify growth opportunities, campaign ideas, and platform-specific strategies
Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and platform changes to keep brands ahead of the curve
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in social media, content strategy, or integrated marketing roles within an agency environment
Strong understanding of content strategy, audience behaviour, and social media platforms
Proven experience managing multiple brands and stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
Ability to think strategically while maintaining strong execution standards
Comfortable creating presentations, content briefs, and strategy documents
Familiarity with Canva and modern content creation tools
Confident on camera when required for content, pitches, or client interactions
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
