Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets for gastroenterology products within the assigned territory, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions. The Area Sales Manager will regularly visit hospitals, clinics, and distributors, coordinate with internal teams for order processing and supply, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts.
Qualifications
Proven experience 3-7 years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, preferably in gastroenterology or related specialties.
Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain clinical and technical product features clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Pharmacy or Business , or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM tools) and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
Demonstrated integrity, customer focus, and a commitment to ethical sales practices in the healthcare sector.
