Role Description The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai Tamil Nadu, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the client base for SkyeTrip Global Holidays. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating and qualifying leads, and building a strong sales pipeline for individual, family, and corporate travel packages. The role involves meeting prospective clients, presenting tailored travel solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals in alignment with company targets. The executive will manage client accounts, maintain long-term relationships, and coordinate closely with travel consultants and operations to ensure smooth service delivery. Additional tasks include market research, tracking competitor offerings, maintaining CRM data, and providing regular sales reports and insights to leadership.
Qualifications
Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into clients.
Solid understanding of business and sales principles, including pipeline management, negotiation, and revenue-focused decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present travel solutions clearly, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships.
Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or related customer-facing sales roles is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in basic office and CRM tools for managing leads, tracking activities, and reporting performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
