Role Description The Sales Executive internship role at SkyeTrip Global Holidays is an on-site position based in Rajarhat. The intern will assist in identifying and contacting potential clients, explaining travel packages, and promoting company services across leisure, honeymoon, family, and corporate travel segments. Daily tasks include responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating with travel consultants to customize itineraries, and following up on leads to convert them into confirmed bookings. The intern will support maintaining client records, updating sales reports, and contributing to promotional activities and campaigns. This internship offers practical exposure to travel sales, customer relationship management, and end-to-end trip planning in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse clients and build long-term relationships.
Sales and negotiation aptitude, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing skills in a target-driven environment.
Customer service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality travel experiences.
Basic knowledge or keen interest in travel, tourism, and international destinations, especially popular holiday and honeymoon locations.
Comfort with using office productivity tools and online platforms for quotations, itineraries, and client communication.
Ability to work on-site in Rajarhat, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Academic background in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
Prior internship or part-time experience in sales, travel, or hospitality is an advantage.
