Vice President of Supply Chain Management

Role Description The Vice President of Supply Chain Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across the organization. This role oversees demand planning, procurement, materials management, logistics, and supply chain operations to support commercial real estate development and construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include forecasting demand, optimizing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The Vice President will establish performance metrics, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with finance, project management, and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and reliability. This role also involves risk management, contract negotiation, and implementing technology solutions to enhance visibility and control throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications
Strong background in Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Operations, with demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-site supply chains.
Proficiency in Demand Planning, including forecasting, analytics, and scenario modeling to support construction and real estate project timelines.
Experience in Logistics Management, including transportation planning, distribution, and coordination with third-party logistics providers.
Expertise in Materials Management, including inventory control, procurement, vendor management, and quality assurance.
Proven leadership skills, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication at executive level.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using ERP or supply chain management systems and data-driven decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPSM) are beneficial.
Experience in construction, real estate, or related industries is preferred, along with the ability to work effectively in a remote, global team environment.
