Role Description The Software Intern role at Gradyens is a full-time, on-site position based in Tirunelveli. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software features that support billing, invoicing, and payment tracking functionalities. Day-to-day tasks include writing and reviewing code under guidance, participating in software design discussions, and collaborating with team members on implementation details. The intern will also help with database-related tasks, such as querying and updating data, and support testing activities to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure overall software quality. This role provides hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to learn best practices in modern software development.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Software Development and Programming, with familiarity in at least one modern programming language.
Basic understanding of Databases, including writing queries and working with structured data.
Interest in Software Design concepts, such as modular architecture, clean code principles, and documentation.
Exposure to Testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, or manual test case execution.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development tools is an advantage.
