We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level rigor into cutting-edge AI development. You'll work alongside world-leading AI research teams, ensuring that the clinical data and reasoning embedded in frontier AI models meets the standards you'd expect in a real-world regulatory submission.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced clinical scientists who want to do meaningful work on their own terms.

What You'll Do
Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready training datasets
Interpret and audit clinical trial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance
Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and alignment with regulatory expectations (FDA, EMA, or equivalent)
Provide expert, structured feedback that directly improves how AI models reason about clinical trial data and outcomes
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Senior-level experience designing clinical trial protocols intended for regulatory submission
Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMA, or equivalent bodies
Strong command of clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
Naturally rigorous and detail-oriented — you hold your work to the same standards regulators do
Clear, structured communicator who can articulate complex scientific reasoning in writing
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
Background in AI-adjacent roles such as digital health, clinical decision support, or health informatics
Familiarity with how AI systems are trained and evaluated
