About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist in Talent Acquisition with a focus on US-based technical hiring to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent across Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics domains. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical landscape, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline. As a key partner to hiring managers and leadership, you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and stakeholders alike. The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth of MathCo’s technical capabilities and contribute to our mission of connecting intelligence across enterprises.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess 6-8 years of experience in technical US recruitment, with proven expertise in hiring for roles within Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics. Candidates should have a solid track record of supporting hiring across consulting, engineering, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives within professional services or technology organizations. Exposure to recruiting talent in domains such as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Pharma, or related fields is highly desirable. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline is required; HR specialization is a plus. The role demands flexibility to work predominantly U.S. business hours (6 pm IST to 3 am IST), given the global nature of the position and close collaboration with North American stakeholders. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and a data-driven approach to recruitment are essential for success.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of technical recruitment for roles in Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics. This involves partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, developing effective sourcing strategies, and ensuring a smooth and timely hiring process. The candidate will actively source candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, and professional communities, while building and maintaining a robust pipeline of both active and passive talent to meet current and future organizational needs. Collaborating closely with business leaders and stakeholders to align on hiring priorities and timelines is critical. You will evaluate candidates for technical proficiency and cultural fit, providing an excellent candidate experience throughout the process. Negotiating offers and managing the offer-to-joining process end-to-end is also part of the role, along with tracking recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and offer acceptance ratios. Maintaining accurate candidate data within the ATS, providing timely feedback, and staying informed about current market trends and compensation benchmarks are vital components of your responsibilities. Additionally, representing MathCo as a strong employer brand ambassador in the technical talent market will be essential to attracting top talent.
