Mathematics Specialist (Masters/PhDs) — AI Training
About The Role

We're looking for Mathematics Specialists with graduate-level training to help build and refine the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll work asynchronously alongside world-class AI researchers — applying the depth of your mathematical knowledge to problems that genuinely matter.

What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance
Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields to design rigorous, complex problem sets
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning and output quality
Evaluate mathematical content for rigor, clarity, and depth — ensuring every deliverable meets a high standard
Use tools like Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica to support problem development and verification
Who You Are
Hold a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied problem-solving
Exceptionally precise in written communication — you explain complex ideas clearly and without ambiguity
Self-directed and reliable when working independently on technical tasks
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or AI training workflows
Background in academic research, teaching, or technical writing
Familiarity with formal proof systems or computational mathematics
Experience reviewing or grading advanced mathematical work
