Role Description This full-time, on-site Interior Designer role in the Pune Division involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and timelines, and translating these into detailed design concepts. Day-to-day tasks include developing floor plans and layouts, preparing construction drawings, selecting finishes, fixtures, and equipment, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation. The Interior Designer will visit project sites regularly to review progress, address design issues, and make necessary adjustments. The role also includes preparing presentations, mood boards, and material boards, managing project documentation, and ensuring that all work complies with safety standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, efficient, and visually appealing layouts.
Candidates should possess Architecture-related knowledge and experience with Construction Drawings to communicate design intent clearly to contractors and consultants.
Candidates should possess FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification skills to ensure cohesive design and appropriate material choices.
Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
Strong visual, creative, and technical skills, including attention to detail, spatial awareness, and familiarity with building materials, lighting, and color theory.
Effective communication and client management skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently on-site in the Pune Division.
