Role Description The Cloud Engineer role at AgenticOrbitX is a full-time position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports AI-driven automation products and internal systems. You will manage and optimize cloud resources, monitor performance, ensure high availability, and implement security and compliance best practices. Day-to-day tasks include deploying applications, automating infrastructure provisioning, managing Linux-based environments, and working with databases and cloud services. You will collaborate closely with software developers, data teams, and product stakeholders to build scalable, reliable solutions and continuously improve the cloud environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, including experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, shell scripting, and performance monitoring in production environments.
Knowledge of Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including design, optimization, backups, and security practices.
Experience in Software Development or scripting (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or similar) for automation, tooling, and integration with cloud services.
Understanding of networking, security, and observability concepts (VPCs, firewalls, IAM, logging, metrics, and alerting).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work in a hybrid setting in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus.
