Role Description The Azure Developer will design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure to support AI-driven automation solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and deploying scalable solutions, configuring and monitoring Azure infrastructure, integrating databases and APIs, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security across cloud environments. The role involves collaborating with product, data, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures, as well as troubleshooting issues and optimizing existing deployments. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Strong software development skills, ideally with experience in languages such as C#, .NET, Python, or Node.js, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure concepts, including networking, security, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Bicep, Terraform).
Proficiency in cloud computing, specifically Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps.
Working knowledge of Linux environments, shell scripting, and system monitoring in cloud or hybrid infrastructure setups.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB, including performance tuning and data security.
Understanding of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (Azure AD), and compliance considerations.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document architectures and solutions effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in AI, automation, or SaaS environments is an advantage.
