Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support engineering and manufacturing activities on a day-to-day basis in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting in production planning, monitoring manufacturing processes, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The trainee will work with senior engineers to analyze technical issues, prepare basic reports, and help implement engineering solutions on the shop floor. Responsibilities also include coordinating with cross-functional teams, documenting project progress, and following safety and quality standards. The role is designed to provide structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to end-to-end manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering skills relevant to production and process optimization.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members and document technical information clearly.
Candidates should possess basic Project Management skills to assist in planning, tracking, and supporting engineering projects.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with CAD tools, basic knowledge of quality systems (such as ISO standards), and an understanding of safety practices in manufacturing.
